The ConneXtions Practice & Assessment Team encourage social learning for children and adults by engaging in programs that develop new skills in a social environment. We set ourselves apart by ensuring that each one of our programs has an outcome-focused approach where you will be gaining important social skills while building worthwhile friendships and having fun. Social Learning Programs

Secret Agent Society (SAS)

Help empower your child to feel happier, calmer and brave. At the end of the SAS Small Group Program, your junior detective will graduate as a ‘secret agent’, armed with the social and emotional tools they need to recognise emotions in themselves and others, express their feelings, in appropriate ways, talk and play with others, solve friendship problems, and cope with change and deal with bullying.

PEERS for Teens

PEERS® Teens targets topics and issues particularly relevant to 12–18 year olds. Teens and their parents attend 18 weekly group sessions for 90 minutes a week. During the program participants will be exposed to a range of skills and topics

PEERS for Adults

PEERS® for Young Adults is for those who are interested in learning skills to make and keep friends. During each group session, young adults are taught important social skills and are given the opportunity to practice these skills. Before starting the program each participant attends a one on one evaluation session.


During the session we will ensure the program is right for you and the goals you are working towards. Young adults attend sessions with their social coaches (including parents or other caregivers). During the 18 week program participants will be discover and be engaged in topics.

Pathways to Opportunities Program


ConneXtions has partnered with Belonging Matters to deliver some workshops to support people with disabilities, their families and supporters to think about what a good life looks like and how people can use their NDIS plan’s to support them to work to actively participate in community life.


This program aims to assist participants to plan and prepare for an inclusive life after school that is personally relevant, meaningful and unique.

Holiday Program

Our Holiday Program is for young people aged 6 - 18 who currently engaged ConneXtions services, either through our Practice & Assessment Team and/or Workforce Options. The program will provide our families with creative and active opportunities during school holiday period. Daily programs encompass a wide variety of activities to build independence and ability to be part of a team.

Artmania

Artmania Community Arts Hub and Gallery, supported in partnership with ConneXtions Wodonga, is an inclusive creative arts studio.

Our beautiful, bright and comfortable studio and gallery is located on the upper floor of the Strand building in Reid Street, Wangaratta, where our artists also have access to a kitchenette and a homey chill out space.
